A Unique Re-Engineered Building System
This project began as a package metal building system originally disassembled in Vermont. The structure was transported back to Gorham, Maine, where it was fully re-engineered to meet local codes, wind loads, and snow load requirements.
To meet the updated design criteria, Corle Building Systems supplied additional materials, ensuring the final structure complied with all engineering and performance standards required for installation in Maine.
Designed for Operations and Visibility
With multiple overhead, man, and storefront doors, this building was designed to support both operational efficiency and customer-facing functions. The 200-foot canopy adds covered workspace and weather protection, while the mezzanine creates valuable additional square footage without expanding the building footprint.
The exterior panel system blends MBCI gray, orange, and black wall panels, giving the building a bold, modern appearance that reflects the Maine Metal Buildings brand.
Energy Efficient and Built to Perform
High-performance insulation—R-40 in the roof and R-30 in the walls—helps maintain interior comfort and reduce energy costs throughout the year. The Double-Lok standing seam roof system delivers long-term weather resistance and durability, making it ideal for Maine’s climate.
A Showcase of Metal Building Expertise
This headquarters project serves as a real-world example of what’s possible with metal building systems when engineering, materials, and installation are done right. From adaptive reuse to code compliance and custom finishes, the project highlights Maine Metal Buildings’ ability to handle complex commercial builds from start to finish.
If you’re considering a custom, re-engineered, or large-scale metal building project in Maine, Maine Metal Buildings delivers the experience and technical expertise to make it happen.
