Maine Metal Buildings was founded in September 2016 with a clear mission: to be the best at what we do. From day one, our focus has been on delivering high-quality metal building supply and installation through experience, professionalism, and consistent execution—project after project.
Led by Tom and Roberta Morton, our company brings together decades of hands-on field experience and disciplined business operations. We don’t cut corners, overpromise, or blur responsibilities. We do one thing extremely well: metal building supply and installation, executed safely and correctly.

We do not perform permitting, foundation work, or site preparation, but we are happy to recommend qualified partners when needed. Throughout each project, we maintain regular communication with general contractors and project managers, coordinating daily or weekly as required to keep projects moving smoothly.
Tom has more than 25 years in the metal building industry and holds certifications in metal panel installation, crane operation, welding, and equipment operation, along with OSHA 30. Roberta brings 12 years of experience, a business degree with a minor in accounting, and previous ownership of multiple businesses.
We specialize strictly in metal building supply and installation. We do not handle permitting, foundations, or site preparation — but we can recommend qualified partners when needed.
Although based in Maine, we serve projects across most of the United States and work closely with general contractors and project managers on active job sites.
We partner with trusted manufacturers including Corle, Star, MBCI, Thermal Design, and Nucor — many of whom we’ve worked with for decades. All buildings are engineered to meet or exceed local codes and structural load requirements.
Our team has completed more than 200 metal building projects over nine years, earned multiple AGC safety awards, and contributed to award-winning structures.
