Maine Metal Buildings Inc.
Structural steel is the backbone of any structure — and when it’s done right, everything else works the way it should.
At Maine Metal Buildings, we provide structural steel supply and installation for new builds, additions, and specialized projects. Our focus is on accuracy, safety, and making sure every piece is installed correctly the first time.
We don’t guess.
We measure, plan, coordinate, and execute.
We work with contractors, project managers, and owners to support projects of all sizes, including:
Beams, columns and structural framing components — supplied and installed.
Tie-ins and reinforcement for metal building expansions and upgrades.
Fabricated components designed to support unique layouts and project requirements.
Steel framing for mezzanines, platforms, overhead systems, and specialty loads.
Every piece is handled with precision and installed to support both performance and safety.
Properly planned and installed structural steel affects:
Building stability
Load distribution
Roof performance
Expansion capability
Long-term durability
Safety and code compliance
When structural steel is done poorly, problems appear later — and they’re expensive to fix.
We take a detail-driven, builder-focused approach:
Review drawings and specifications
Verify measurements and connection points
Coordinate onsite logistics
Plan safe handling and lifting
Ensure clean alignment and fastening
Communicate with GC/project management regularly
Our crews understand jobsite expectations — efficiency matters, but accuracy always comes first.

We provide structural steel supply and installation for new buildings, additions, mezzanines, load supports, and custom structural components.
In most cases, we source structural components through trusted manufacturers and fabricators, then handle coordination and installation. For specialty needs, we work closely with fabricators to ensure everything is built to spec.
We don’t provide engineering in-house, but we regularly coordinate with licensed engineers and can connect you with qualified professionals when engineered drawings are required.
Yes — as long as drawings, specs, and materials are correct and complete, we can often install steel on projects supplied by others, depending on scope and conditions.
Project drawings, dimensions, load expectations (when available), site location, and timeline are helpful. From there, we review details and provide a clear path forward.
